This test lasted almost 6 hours. Temperature inside the oven got up to 83.6°C at its hottest and the desiccant lost 0.4 grams of weight.
Coming out of the bag of flour, the pouch of CaCl2 absorbed a good amount of moisture from the flour itself because it was slightly buried. Some flour stuck to the pouch on the outside and attempts to remove the stuck flour would tear holes in the pouch, so we left most of it on.
The pouch seemed to gain weight at first, we assume because more moisture was being absorbed as the oven and the remaining flour heated up.
There was no solution after cooking this test, possibly because this test was much longer than previous test, allowing more moisture to be evaporated.
